SSBB – Events 40-41

The final two events. Note that these are both done on hard.

Events 40: Titled “The Final Battle”, it leads you believe it is. Most people who played Melee would be very upset at this because it is not only easy, but rather unexciting. We already faught against D3 and Bowser in an event, adding Ganon doesn’t do much. Either way, easy event, Ike will destroy them, etc.

Event 41: After beating the previous event, this appears. This is the real final event. And it is HARD. If you thought Event 51 in Melee was bad, this is much worse. I cannot beat this consistantly no matter what I do. And there are less tricks to defeat the AI unlike in Melee where you could just get the AI to *******.

Anyway, instead of Giga Bowser it’s Giga Mario. Probably because Giga Bowser is a FS this time. Either way now Snake and Sonic are with him. But your main concern is Giga Mario. He’ll tear you to shreds. Your best bet is to be cheap. Spam powerful moves and hope they walk into it. If you try to fight fair, you’ll lose (unless lucky). Hope for good items, hope Giga Mario suicides one or both lives. Ike is great for this because of his power, but I use Snake as he is also good for this. There’s other good chars too, don’t have to do what I do if you are having trouble.

Alright so that’s it for event videos. Like I said, not doing co-op. But first let me OMG at the first blue connection I saw on Wifi last night. The Dojo stated there’s a blue colored connection but I have never seen one until now. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, in Friends Only on Wifi when you add someone they get a colored circle that indicates their connection stability compared to you or something. I myself have a really good connection, but have not been seen as blue yet. But someone I played yesterday was blue. Red is the worst, blue is the best. I took a screenshot of it out of being shocked. As for the fights, for some reason one of them slightly lagged but it was on a stupid stage. On the normal fights it felt as if no button lag was there or if there was it was very slight. Either way, pretty cool. No one else I talk to has seen a blue yet. Anyway, here is the SS if you care:

This short video from The Cloud shows how you can improve the way the Nokia N95 handles WiFi. In partciular Nokia handsets can have problems doing ‘handover’ on metro WiFi networks. By following these quick setting changes your Nokia will perform handover far better, enabling you to make VoIP calls when moving between access points on a mesh WiFi network, with no drop of signal or interruption of call. This has been tested on the City of London metro WiFi network operated by The Cloud.
