T-Mobile this morning to the voluntary use CES as the place for a trio of new phones for its network. The company during the long Shadow update includes full design, but it continues to follow the same basic philosophy of a jogwheel and a slide-out keyboard type Sure. The new model is built in Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity)HotSpot with professionals and includes a 260MHz processor speed to help feed its Windows Mobile 6.1.

The phone also has a 2 megapixel camera, a microSD slot, EDGE and GSM on its cellular network. As before, T-Mobile to adapt the software and includes a hook for myFaves and IM clients for pre-tensioning device AIM, ICQ, Windows Live and Yahoo. T-Mobile hopes Shadow ship in 2009 in two colors on January 28, but gave no price.

The carrier is also to its own version of the Nokia 7510 Supernova. T-Mobile edition is close to the 2-megapixel flip phone reference design, but adds Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity) hotspots and Calling myFaves functionality. Several specific supplier swappable facades will be available when the phone is available in the coming weeks “at a specified price.

Basic phone users with the latest phone in the presentation. The Samsung T119 has only to work and the tires of the airplane and most other supplements, the data only through GPRS. The candybar design is scheduled for release around February and again is priceless.

AMD was the start of the conference with the official debut of the Phenom II, his first major processor 45 nanometers. The upgrade is based on the same basis “Shanghai” Opteron recent architecture and offers a speed of about 20 percent during the last best pulse 2.6GHz chip through changes associated with an optimized design with more detailed instructions processed per clock cycle, 4 MB cache extra total, and support for DDR3 memory at 1333MHz Intel competing systems. The design is now much more tolerant of the high clock speed and will continue to 3 GHz in stock trim.
Reflecting a new focus Thursday AMD is a new grouping, the usefulness of a simplified overclocking with its highest-end model, en tout a large number of options for higher speeds. The chip is capable of so much 4GHz based on the fan, the company claims. Exotic overclocking using liquid nitrogen to the system to 6GHz or more; Core i7 and material support from the older generations can not reach this point, because they physically limited by a cold bug “that prevents them fall below a certain temperature, according AMD representative Simon Solotko.
When asked why the system is Intel 3.2GHz despite room for faster clock speeds, the official statement that the need for the chip to run at regular specifications without problems. Yet it is widely seen by some observers that the move is a deliberate attempt to avoid any race clock Intel, which saw the two companies ramp rates up to their limit.
The design is also reported that more than 30 to 40 percent more power at peak load. despite its 125W ceiling, and the plan to work with a 790GX chipset motherboard (mainboard) as part of a platform combined nicknamed “Dragon“. The new Union is not only a 3.6GHz or faster, faster Hyper Transport (interface) bus, but also for better integration of images that can be used in a way to stop the Hybrid CrossFire video dedicated to saving energy with lighter loads.
Taking design is compatible and works on many games in the series 780-use of DDR2 memory simply by applying a firmware update. AMD claims that users have the option to upgrade to new models and get 790GX performance DDR3 architecture and other changes without replacing the transformer.
AMD‘s first Phenom II chip is available today and the introduction of a 2.8GHz Phenom X4 II 920 to $ 235 in large lots for PC makers. The flagship model of 3Ghz 940 is locked for overclocking and costs $ 275 in similar quantities. Retail kits are likely to cost more.
The introduction of vital importance for AMD, which has difficulties to maintain its competitiveness with Intel and had to abandon its forecast for this year by 25 percent that Intel maintains a current leyden performance in both desktops and laptops. Phenom II should not only AMD‘s competitiveness in the implementation, but also to win on price, according Solotko a typical mother for the new equipment Gigabyte or any of its rivals will cost about $ 140, about half of the minimum cost of entry for a Core i7 motherboard(Mainboard).
Solotko rejects notions that Intel Hyperthreading, which can sometimes make use of two program threads on a single core, is always the best for the games it supports, rather than the platform in conjunction with the focus on the effectiveness of the core chips, and the use of the latest video cards support general computing, need to be in general.

“Throwing threads games will not solve the problem,” he said, referring to Intel technology.

JAE - Tough connectors for next-generation digital display interfacesThe FI-XP serial connector, which is aimed at low-profile, including LVDS and Display Port interfaces, combined with a low level of improving the strength of the strong links with the end of LCDs, was introduced by JAE.

The insulation and metal shell optimized for high resistance, and removing the cable from rough treatment by equipment installers or end users. A mechanical lock prevents a pairing as a result of shocks and vibrations.

The FI-XP-down to board the vessel 30 posts, 1 mm high and a slight increase of 1 mm for ultra-low-profile displays. The cable of the ship at a height of 1.55mm also contributes to a thin line of interconnection, which designers to large interconnections between computer equipment and new flat screen monitors. The connections can be used with AWG # 14 and # 42 AWG coaxial cable or AWG # 32 and # 36 AWG wire discreet.

The connectors are lead-free and RoHS-compatible, with the signal dismissal with a nickel barrier solder long-term reliability. The operational temperature range of-40C to +85 C allows use in a wide range of consumer and professional circles.

The PCB footprint of the FI-XP container is the same as the current JAE FI-X connector. In addition, compatibility with the X-Fi cable to the adoption of the IF-XP stronger connections in product design. The FI-XP 150% more than the removal of the X-FI stamina, says the company.

Kanda has made available in the range of Bluetooth modules that can be processed into a product with a Bluetooth connection. The modules have a low-pin, 3.3 V and understand the operation of an antenna.
Modules give Bluetooth connectivity
They Connectivity Bluetooth modules offer a simple Bluetooth node for system installers, instrument engineers and product designers who use the serial communications in their product.
The Bluetooth interface is configurable operating modes and can communicate with other Bluetooth node such as PDAs, mobile phones, PC Bluetooth adapters, laptops, or just talk.

In addition to being easy to add hardware, they are easy to install using the Windows Manager software supplied with the unit or using the modem AT commands. A starter kit is available that is ideal for installation and evaluation modules.

There are two types of modules for Class 1 and Class 2 Bluetooth – the main difference is the signal. Class 2 modules are 8-pin with an antenna on board and a range of 30 meters. Class 1 modules 12 pins. They use an external antenna and extension cable of 15 cm, easy to assemble outside a case, and have a range of 100 meters with the heel of the antenna. Extra supply can be achieved using optional dipole or patch antenna.

If the Bluetooth and serial port, are easy to configure and change, including baud rate, parity, flow control equipment, Generic Access Profile, and many others, these modules can fit into a range of existing designs without major re – engineering. If the range of applications is endless serial cable replacement updates via Bluetooth.

Blu-ray Disc

Blu-ray Disc aka BD is an optical storage media that is next-generation optical disc format jointly developed by the Blu-ray Disc Association (BDA), a group of the world’s leading consumer electronics, personal computer and media manufacturers. Its main use is to store the high definition video. The main advantage of Blu-ray is the sheer amount of data storage.

  • A single-layer Blu-ray disc, which is the same size of a standard DVD, can hold up to 27 GB of data.
  • A double-layer Blu-ray disc can store up to 50 GB.
Blu-ray DiscAll current optical disc such as DVD rely on a red laser to read and write data, the new format as BD uses a blue-violet laser instead, hence the name Blu-ray. The benefit of using a blue-violet laser is that it can focus the laser spot with even greater precision which permits data to be packed more tightly and stored in less space, so data storage increases even though it’s the same size as a CD/DVD. Apart from its storage capacity, it provides more interactivity to its users. With Blu-ray, you can:
  • record high-definition television without any quality loss
  • instantly skip to any spot on the disc
  • record one program while watching another on the disc
  • create play lists
  • edit or reorder programs recorded on the disc
  • automatically search for an empty space on the disc to avoid recording over a program
  • access the Web to download subtitles and other extra features
Blu-ray discs store data in form of pits – spiral grooves that run from the center of the disc to its edges. The design of the Blu-ray discs saves on manufacturing costs. Blu-ray also has a higher data transfer rate — 36 Mbps than DVD, which transfer at 10 Mbps. A Blu-ray disc can record 25 GB of material in just over an hour and a half.

Technical specifications of Blu-ray Disc :

Type : Standard disc size
Phyical size : 12 cm, single sided
Single Layer Capacity : 25 GB (23.28 GiB)
Dual Layer Capacity : 50 GB (46.56 GiB)

Type : Mini disc size
Phyical size : 8 cm, single sided
Single Layer Capacity : 7.8 GB (7.26 GiB)
Dual Layer Capacity : 15.6 GB (14.53 GiB)
Various variants of blu-ray Disc :
Mini Blu-ray Disc : It is a compact 8cm (~3in) diameter variant of the Blu-ray Disc that can store approximately 7.5GB of data.

BD9/BD5 Blu-ray Disc : BD9 and BD5 are lower capacity variants of the Blu-ray Disc that contain Blu-ray compatible video and audio streams contained on a conventional DVD optical disc.

AVCREC : AVCREC is an official lower capacity variant of the Blu-ray Disc used for storing Blu-ray Disc compatible content on conventional DVD discs.

Blu-ray Disc recordable : Blu-ray Disc recordable refers to two optical disc formats that can be recorded with an optical disc recorder. BD-R discs can be written to once, whereas BD-RE can be erased and re-recorded multiple times.
